Dog Days Adoption Event June 29th & 30th

Zero the Hero

Meet Zero the Hero and his best friend Marik. Zero originated from a cruelty case as he was tied outside most of his life. He has lost his hearing along the way for reasons unknown. He was adopted by the Tucker Family for their son, Marik.  Marik is also deaf and bonded with his special friend right away as did the rest of his family.  Marik is presently undergoing treatment for cancer and he has found genuine comfort in owning such a special dog.

Zero was recently taken to Warwick Animal Hospital in Rhode Island- transported by CT Animal House.  It was discovered that, in addition to Heartworm Disease and a Heart Murmur, Zero also has Lyme Disease and Anaplasmosis (another tickborne disease). CTAnimalHouse has a fund set up to help pay for Zero's veterinary expenses. Marik is handling all of this so well as hospital settings and visits are his normal these days. Zero and Marik are in this together through thick or thin.
For more about Marik's story, visit him on Facebook at Miracles for Marik.
